* SOL deposits are supported via swapping to a stablecoin at the time of deposit.
** Native BTC and Lightning Network BTC deposits are swapped via Satora smart contracts and deposited as stable coins.
Does the stablecoin choice matter?
Generally, no. Deposits are credited based on their USD value and converted to card balance in dollars. Choose the stablecoin and network with the best fees and reliability for you; your card balance will reflect the USD-equivalent amount.
Unsupported networks and tokens
We do not support TON, TRON, or any other networks or tokens not listed above. Depositing on a unsupported network may lead to the loss of funds.
If you have a specific network you'd like us to support, please open a live chat and let us know. If we have strong support for the support of any particular network or token, we will do our best to integrate it.
I deposited an unsupported token, what do I do?
If you deposit any other token that is not listed in the supported tokens section above, it will not be credited to your account.
If you accidentally sent the wrong currency, open a live chat and share your wallet address and the block explorer link to your transaction.
Why does the deposit form say I have zero balance?
If you look at MetaMask, it may say you have $50 in your wallet. But, if all $50 of that is in an unsupported token such as ETH, it will not show when attempting to deposit into Laso because it's not supported.
To deposit into Laso, you will need to convert into one of the listed tokens in the supported tokens section above. You can do this using a DEX such as Uniswap or centralised exchange of your choice.
Compliance considerations
The coins we support vary by network due to technical capabilities of each blockchain and compliance requirements. For example, traceable assets and adherence to regulatory standards influence the selection of supported cryptocurrencies.
Laso Finance adheres to strict compliance requirements to ensure secure and traceable transactions. One significant reason for not supporting certain assets, such as Monero (XMR), is their privacy-focused features. These features can obscure transaction details, which can breach compliance requirements for traceability.
Laso Finance opts not to support such assets to maintain adherence to financial regulations. By focusing on stablecoins and traceable assets, Laso Finance aims to provide a secure and compliant payment ecosystem that aligns with the needs of both users and regulatory authorities.
