Why the Program Was Cancelled
The REL issuer has stopped supporting crypto-linked card products entirely. While no detailed public explanation was provided, the decision was immediate and outside the program operatorโs control.
How This Affects Existing Cardholders
If you currently hold an INTL Reloadable (REL) card, hereโs what has changed:
Cards can no longer be used for purchases.
Deposits are disabled, including crypto top-ups and balance transfers.
Refunds from previous purchases will still be processed.
You may withdraw your funds at any time.
New Card Availability
The issuer has stated that:
No new cards can be issued, effective immediately.
There is no ETA for returning or replacing the REL card program.
Your Funds Remain Secure
Though card functions have stopped, your funds are safe. Any remaining card balance and unused fees have already been transferred into your Laso Finance account balance.
Next Steps: Using Your Account Balance
Card balance and unused fees have been refunded to your Laso Finance account balance.
For example, a user with $8.78 on their card had $0.46 of unused fees. Both of those are refunded to the account balance. If the user starts with $10 in their account balance, their new balance is $19.24
Good news: No other Laso Finance products are affected. All other services continue to operate normally. You can now choose how to use your account balance.
