What does the recipient see when I send a PayPal Transfer?

When you send a PayPal Transfer through Laso, the recipient may see the payment as coming from Dash Transfer Service rather than your personal name. This is useful to know if you want to let the recipient know in advance that the payment is from you.

What will the recipient see?

The recipient's PayPal notification may show:

  • Sender: Dash Transfer Service

  • Amount received: The amount of the transfer

  • Transaction ID: A unique transaction reference

  • Transaction date: The date the payment was sent

  • Payment note: The notification may mention Payouts.com

For example:

Dash Transfer Service sent you $10.00 USD

The payment details may also show:

Money received: $10.00 USD
Transaction ID: 7FB72144F4348043D
Transaction date: August 14, 2026
Note: You have received payment from Payouts.com

Will the recipient see my name or email?

The example notification shows Dash Transfer Service as the sender.

Your personal name or email may not appear as the sender of the PayPal Transfer.

If you're paying someone, we recommend letting them know beforehand that the payment may appear under Dash Transfer Service.

Example message to the recipient

I'll send you the payment through Laso PayPal Transfer. It may appear on PayPal as coming from Dash Transfer Service.

Why does Dash Transfer Service appear?

Laso PayPal Transfers are processed through a payout service. Because of this, the recipient may see Dash Transfer Service as the sender, with Payouts.com referenced in the payment details.

Important

The exact information displayed to the recipient may vary depending on PayPal and the payout processing method. Always verify the payment amount and transaction details before considering the transfer complete.
