When you add any credit, debit, or prepaid card to Apple Pay or Google Pay, the card is tokenized as an extra security measure.

<a href="https://www.mastercard.com/us/en/news-and-trends/stories/2025/what-is-tokenization.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tokenization turns your 16-digit card number into a different number stored on your device, so your actual card information is never shared with the business you're spending at.</a>

This applies to any card you add to your device. It will apply for your Laso cards as well.
